Nancy Jo Shaw studied creative arts while receiving her M.A. from Lesley University. Writing poetry with her elementary student each spring was a highlight of her teaching career. Nancy continues to watch for signs of spring after the long Minnesota winters. She enjoys tending her gardens, playing with her grandson, and writing children’s books. Margarita Sikorskaia

Margarita Sikorskaia was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she studied arts and graphics at the Herzen State Pedagogical University. At the age of twenty-two, she moved to the United States. A prolific and passionate artist, she has exhibited her paintings throughout the country. Margarita turned her attention to illustration in 2009, and takes much pride and pleasure in bringing children’s stories to life.
