T. F. Wiklund

 Born on a working farm, T. F. Wiklund developed a love for animals and the outdoors at an early age. Those deep roots and family experiences helped form the foundation for his book, The Christmas Pony.

Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota, he worked for several large corporations. That business experience helped him establish and operate his own construction business for twenty-five years. Recently retired, Tim has several other books in progress including Maple, The Forgotten Fawn and A Whistle in the Willows.

Lifelong Minnesotans, Tim and his wife Michelle raised two sons, and now reside at their lake home in northwestern Wisconsin.

Marilyn Brown

Marilyn Brown (Illustrator) is a Chanhassen, Minnesota-based freelance artist and illustrator. Following her studies at Minnesota College of Art, she took time off to marry and start a family. She’s received training in Johannesburg, South Africa; Venice, Italy; and Atelier Le Sueur in Excelsior, Minnesota.

Marilyn has also illustrated Dress Up Dog and the Dog Show, award-winning The Station, Girls Can! Make it Happen, and Gifts of the Heart. She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women, Minnesota Artists Association, and Children’s Book Illustrators Guild of Minnesota.
