Alyson Young is an business owner and "teacherpreneur" at The Learning Loft in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She works with children, teachers, and parents to help create a positive 'ecosystem' for children and their care givers.  As someone who is passionate about children and their social, emotional, and academic success, Alyson became enthusiastic about educating children on about nutritious brain-boosting foods that maintain healthy brains and healthy life styles.  The brain-body system works together.  A healthy lifestyle including eating healthy food and getting plenty of physical movement drive successful learning. What we put into our bodies fuels us, it should be good things, healthy things, colorful things, that help us feel our best so we can be our best. This book was created to encourage young children to enjoy the fun of eating a wide variety of beautiful, healthy and fresh foods that come from the Earth.
