Meet the Lioness of Emerald Creek -- she is the woman of their dreams, and the warrior of their nightmares…

Some say she is a renegade white Indian. Some say she is a deadly lioness. Some say she doesn’t exist. All agree that she is a woman of legend and many desire her, but no one can melt the proud warrior’s heart except Noah Creed.
Set in the 1860s, Lioness of Emerald Creek is a tale of greed: drifters desperately scouting the next gold rush, cowboys yearning for each other’s women, the Army fighting bloody battles for the final scraps of the Indians’ land, and everyone clamoring over tales of mysterious green stones. This is Noah Creed’s world. An orphan raised in a Wild West saloon, Creed realized early on that life is tough. As he fought to survive, Creed also learned never to trust a soul, because a man’s best friend could be the one pointing the pistol for the right price . . . or the right woman. But after near-fatal encounters with the mysterious renegade, Rosada, his emotions betray him and his hardened heart is lost in desert sand and prairie dust. The trail is marked and, as their passion grows, so does the danger. In their struggle to find the way of survival together, Creed is tied to the Indians’ battle for freedom, and is forced to betray either the woman or his country.

Patricia Catoe Flint, novelist and screenwriter, is a native of South Carolina. Lioness of Emerald Creek is based on her screenplay, Las Animas.
